I have been considering this for a long time, starting up something InDesign related, ended up with this. A blog with thoughts, guides and screencasts on and about InDesign.

It is going to be a huge challenge for me, especially the screencast part, which I have never tried to do before, but I would love to give it a shot. I know I have a lot of InDesign knowledge from many years of work with the application, that I should be able to teach others through written guides and screencasts.

The thoughts part of the blog will contain more observative blog posts. For instance I often come across features I find lacking in InDesign as I daily work with it, which could result in a blog post where I share the feature idea along with arguments on how and why.

My background

Since this is the first post on the blog, and some people might ask to it, I will share a little about my background as a graphic designer.

After a couple of years working freelance with a little print and web design, I started on an education as a a "media graphic designer" in Aarhus, which I finished in 2008. During the education I was (and still am) employed at a small design agency, 2Krogh, where we are specialized in book design, especially Bibles and hymn books.

We are currently working on a promotion book on Bible design and production, here is a few teasers from that project, which you can also read more about here:

I hope you will enjoy the blog!
